Tully Rinckey PLLC, a successful full-service law firm with ten offices nationwide is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team. While the firm continues to build its presence in the legal market, the Marketing Associate is responsible for the execution of aggressive marketing programs reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer located in Albany, NY.  This position involves working with the firm’s attorneys and marketing staff to develop strategic business development and marketing plans to achieve new business revenue and build the firm’s practice areas.


Day to day activities entail working in an extremely fast paced environment marketing complex areas of law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating exposure for the firm and its attorneys as well as generating new business revenue due to his/her efforts.


Job Duties:

  1. Create and implement strategic marketing plans that will generate new business for the firm’s attorneys.
  2. Coordination of the marketing departments training and onboarding efforts for new attorneys, offices and practice areas.
  3. Develop strategic business development plans and work with attorneys individually with their business development strategy.
  4. Assist attorneys with developing their target audience and creation of strategic plans to market to that audience.
  5. Identify, plan, coordinate, and manage legal webinars, seminars and events that will generate new business.
  6. Coordinate and develop specialized electronic communications.
  7. Write and develop letters, web content, press releases and practice area brochures
  8. Write and develop regular updates to be posted onto the firm website and social media, including attorney bios, practice descriptions, client alerts, etc.
  9. Assist with planning and procurement of speaking engagements.
  10. Develop client acquisition/retention strategy development and tactical planning.


Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Must be a self starter, pro-active and able to take the lead on tasks with minimal direction.
  3. Experience in a law firm is not required.
  4. Must possess very strong legal writing skills and have the ability to grasp and interpret legal concepts.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  7. Experience in Microsoft Office suite.
